About The Position

The Youth Outreach Specialist is responsible for assisting youth affected by homelessness by providing immediate case management services and connecting them to resources that facilitate their return to permanent housing. This role involves conducting street outreach in the community to engage with homeless youth, offering information about available programs, and distributing care packs to support their needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years of related experience; or an Associate's Degree in an appropriate field with 1 year of related experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field with 1 year of related experience.
• Experience providing direct services to individuals who have experienced trauma.
• Experience providing case management services in a crisis environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to pass a background screening prior to start.
• Must be 21 years of age to drive on behalf of CPLC, Inc.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish language skills are required.
