Youth-Nex (the Center to Promote Effective Youth Development) at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for part-time research work. Those hired in the Research Specialist (Wage) position will complete research-related tasks, including but not limited to: assisting with cleaning data, helping with codebook development, assisting supervisor with tracking data collection, helping to pilot new materials, screening classroom video, attending team virtual meetings, other administrative tasks as assigned, and more. This position may work across multiple projects and labs at Youth-Nex, including the PIT-CREW lab, Remaking Middle School, the READY lab, and more. Hours for this position will vary depending on the research needs; hires can expect to work between 5-10 hours per week, with hours varying by week based on project schedules.
