About The Position

Youth Mentors support the team and work with the youth referred to the program to improve youth engagement, participation, and successful program completion. The Youth Mentor will work with clients in and outside of the center. Specific functions of the ERC include transporting clients, keeping daily attendance logs, participating in daily activities with clients at the center and completing daily forms for clients charts. Assisting Lead Youth Mentor whenever needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
• At least 2 years experience working with high-risk youth
• Knowledge of the Philadelphia JJS
• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
• Current PA Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI Clearance
• PA Criminal History Clearances
• Health Assessment PPD (TB Skin Test)
• PA Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training - ACT 31
• CPR certification for Adult and Pediatric
• COVID Vaccination Card
