At The Children’s Home Network, we take a holistic approach to mentoring. We believe that intervention and prevention are imperative to mitigating the negative impact that trauma has on early childhood development. Each mentor will spend approximately 2-4 hours per week with each mentee and participate in activities that promote social and emotional development and build formal and informal supports. We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated mentor to work one-on-one with children with varying abilities. The mentor will support the development of emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction skills through structured activities, modeling, and positive reinforcement. Flexible hours include evenings or weekends.
