About The Position

Jonathan’s Place, is accepting applications for a full-time Youth Enrichment Specialist for the RESET (Restoring and Educating Survivors to Empowerment and Transformation) Program. Youth Enrichment Specialist will be responsible for facilitation of life skills programming and related activities for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Youth Enrichment Specialist will develop and implement curriculum to address social/emotional learning and independent living skills. RESET Youth Enrichment Specialist position is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, evenings and weekend (as needed) for agency and youth needs. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Human Services or related field.
• One-year experience working with trauma survivors and facilitating training materials/content.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with survivors of commercial sexual exploitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll students into virtual accredit program.
• Facilitate day to day educational programming including but not limited to explaining curriculum and assisting students with assignments as needed.
• Provide case management and supportive services to clients to help them to acquire the social skills and community resources that will aid survivors to effectively and independently function free of exploitation.
• Provide life skills assessments identifying key components to be included in individual service plans.
• Conducts individual and group sessions that focus on life management skills, the activities of daily living and social skills development.
• Provide training and support through real life extramural activities.
