About The Position

Looking for a job where your energy, creativity, and compassion really matter? Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is hiring Youth Development Professionals to support our afterschool programs. This is an opportunity to make a real impact-helping youth learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
In this role, you'll build meaningful relationships with youth while leading activities that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and positive character development. Whether you're helping with homework, organizing games, or simply being a trusted and encouraging presence, you'll play an important role in each member's day.
You'll plan and lead engaging activities, encourage participation, and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for youth. You'll support daily programming, work collaboratively with your team, and help ensure the Club is a place where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to return.

Requirements

• Dependable, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with youth and bring positive energy to a team environment
• Meet Washington State requirements for licensed childcare, including completing background checks, required training, and health documentation such as a TB test and proof of MMR vaccination or immunity.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Positions working with older youth have additional age requirements: staff must be at least 21 years old to work with middle school members and at least 23 years old to work with high school members.
