About The Position

The Boys and Girls Club of Benton County is seeking enthusiast, responsible individuals to join our team! Our goal is to provide a safe, positive environment for members during out-of-school times to promote Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. This part-time opportunity requires you to be available Monday - Friday from 2:30 – 7:00 pm. Must have transportation to and from work, be reliable, honest, and be able to work with students. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.Job Description: Manages Front Desk responsibilities, greeting all members and visitors and maintaining attendance and visitor logs. Manages Membership Management System including training, enrollment, data entry, and accuracy of data. Responsible for regularly running reports to ensure accuracy of membership data. Answers telephones, providing general information, referring callers to other staff or taking messages as necessary. Maintains electronic and hard copy filing systems, making sure they are accurate and timely and facilitate easy retrieval of information. Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with parents/guardians. Maintain members safety. Other duties as needed; such as providing additional support in the Club, directing and supervising members. Responsible for making sure all areas are clean and safe in the club by ensuring members are not abusing equipment, eating food, drinking, or chewing gum during activities. Administer first aid when needed. Responsible for area cleaning, or other cleaning that Unit Director assigns. To be intentionally engaged with club members to be able to provide instruction, advice, and counsel. As well as demonstrate a daily professional standard towards Club peers, supervisors, community professionals, and volunteers. Maintain a professional attitude and lifestyle with external community groups, schools, members, members parents, and others to assist in resolving problems and to be an example to the community of what the club represents.
