When youth experience a behavioral health crisis, they require focused medical attention, compassionate support, and consistent care. As a Youth Crisis Center Medical Technician, you will provide direct medical and programmatic nursing support to youth admitted to the Community Crisis Center. This includes participating in the admission process, evaluating eligibility, addressing minor medical issues, and helping create a goal-directed plan of care. In this role, you will contribute to healthcare education, collaborate with an interdisciplinary crisis team, and provide oversight to personnel involved in youth medical care. Your work helps stabilize youth in crisis through de-escalation, safety planning, and coordinated treatment.
