About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Youth Coordinator to lead and oversee our Kids Club, lifeguard team, and youth activities. This is a full-time, salaried position responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a variety of programs and staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and positive experience for all youth participants.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with youth and supervising staff, preferably in a recreational or educational setting
• Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, child development, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Kids Club staff, lifeguards, and youth activity leaders
• Develop, coordinate, and implement youth programs, activities, and special events
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children and teens in the program
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff
• Manage program budgets, supplies, and equipment
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff
• Monitor safety standards and enforce facility rules, especially in aquatic settings
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to attendance, incidents, and program outcomes
• Interacts with other departments to promote youth programs
