About The Position

Wediko NH is hiring Youth Congregate Residential Counselors to support middle and high school aged students with emotional and behavioral challenges. This is hands-on, relationship-based work where you mentor, coach, and help young people build the skills they need to succeed. Consistent 4-day work week (set schedule). Three days off. Pay & Perks $20 per hour starting pay Up to $5,000 hiring bonus (paid in installments over first year) Free on- or off-campus housing for first 6 months; $100/month employee contribution thereafter. Some days are challenging, but you’ll never handle difficult situations alone — teamwork and support are central to our program. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 21 years of age or older The applicant must meet one (1) of the following minimum qualification pathways: Two (2) years of full-time experience working with children (paid or volunteer), OR Seven (7) years of parenting experience, OR An associate’s degree or higher with at least 12 credits in human services or a related field, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university. If an applicant does not meet any one of the requirements listed above, they may still qualify if they sign a formal education agreement stating they will: Complete 12 credits in human services within 2 years of hire, and Provide documentation showing completion of 3 credits every 6 months, starting from the date of hire. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
