About The Position

The Youth CES Intake Specialist at YouthLink serves as the first point of contact for young adults seeking assistance, particularly those experiencing homelessness or crisis. This role involves assessing and triaging youth needs through an intake process, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the organization's mission to provide pathways of opportunity for at-risk youth. Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience working with at-risk young adults.
• Valid MN State Driver's License and insurance.
• Experience with HMIS preferred.
• Experience with Coordinated Entry Assessment (CES) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in a youth-focused organization.
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use issues.
• Ability to learn and utilize handheld applications and electronic recording systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments for young adults experiencing homelessness or crisis.
• Compile data and maintain thorough records in the agency tracking software, Apricot.
• Put young adults on the Coordinated Entry priority list for housing.
• Serve as a backup for the front desk operations.
• Generate monthly reports based on client data.
