About The Position

The Youth CES Intake Specialist at YouthLink serves as the first point of contact for young adults seeking assistance, particularly those experiencing homelessness or crisis. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience working with at-risk young adults.
  • Valid MN State Driver's License and insurance.
  • Experience with HMIS preferred.
  • Experience with Coordinated Entry Assessment (CES) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience in a youth-focused organization.
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance use issues.
  • Ability to learn and utilize handheld applications and electronic recording systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments for young adults experiencing homelessness or crisis.
  • Compile data and maintain thorough records in the agency tracking software, Apricot.
  • Put young adults on the Coordinated Entry priority list for housing.
  • Serve as a backup for the front desk operations.
  • Generate monthly reports based on client data.
