About The Position

The Youth Care Worker position at Rite of Passage, Inc. involves providing safety and supervision for youth in a secure Residential Treatment Center. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of youth in a secure Residential Treatment Center.
• Meet the individual needs of each youth through counseling and skill development.
• Monitor and document youth behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.
• Perform standard level paraprofessional work in all aspects of program operations.
