About The Position

Steppingstone – Kansas City a program of Every Child’s Hope, provides shelter and transitional living services to youth ages 16 – 21 by delivering highly individualized transitional and independent living services. The Steppingstone program helps older teens and young adults work toward personal goals, build life skills, and learn how to care for their own mental and physical health. The ultimate goal is to provide them the tools needed to successfully transition into the life they want and deserve. Requirements

• bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• one to two years related experience and/or training
• Must have a strong desire to work with adolescents
• a clean driving record
• ability to pass a federal criminal background fingerprinting check
• drug screen
• be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• active involvement in program development
• ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively
• provide direct supervision, and support to Youth Care Specialist staff
• ensure youth service/treatment plan objectives are implemented and documented in timely manner
• coordinate and manage the YCS staff scheduling
• provide supervision and leadership at the male group living facility
• serve as a member of the administrative team
