Arc of Onondaga is hiring Youth Camp Mentors to provide 1:1 support to children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in fun, inclusive camp settings. Requirements
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent
- Is passionate about working with children
- Is patient, positive, and dependable
- Thrives independently while bringing energy and collaboration to a supportive team
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support at local camps and recreational programs
- Encourage independence and inclusion in group activities
- Offer hands-on guidance, mentoring, and positive support
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate
