Requirements

• Previous experience coaching or instructing youth basketball.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in sports management or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead basketball training sessions for youth of varying skill levels.
• Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and game strategies.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate drills and activities.
• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude.
• Assist in organizing and overseeing basketball camps and events.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding player development.
• Maintain a safe and engaging training environment.
