Beloit Health System is looking for a Youth Apprentice to join our Team! This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship - Dietary Aide is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience. This Youth Apprenticeship - Dietary Aide will practice infection control and safety, assist with planning menus and preparing food, verifying adherence to dietary restrictions, delivering food trays, serving food, assisting with kitchen inventory, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
