See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As an Industrial Youth Apprentice located at our Brookfield, WI Tool & Die Plant, you will join a dynamic team with a winning culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently across various aspects of Tool & Die Manufacturing which support multiple foundry operations including high pressure diecast, lost foam, and investment casting plants. Requirements
- Must be a high school student enrolled in the WI Youth Apprenticeship Program
- A growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve
- Desire to be “hands on” and learn the Tool & Die trade
Responsibilities
- Work safely and efficiently in a tool & die shop environment especially when it comes to industrial safety best practices
- Operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, and other tool shop equipment
- Generate 3D CAD models and blueprints for various projects
- Perform disassembly, final assembly, and outbound tooling inspections
- Inspect and precision measure in-process tooling and components to meet print specifications
- Accurately plan and track time for specific work orders
- Follow all Youth Apprentice State Program Guidelines
