About The Position

Make a positive difference in the lives of young people and their families. Excellent opportunity to work in an outpatient or school setting. This temporary part-time PRN position is based in Belleville, IL, and serves clients in the Metro East area. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus!

Requirements

• Must have a master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license, private automobile insurance and be insurable (when applicable).
• Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide consumer-driven services identified in treatment/recovery/safety plan, focusing on individual, group and family therapy.
• Provide services in the natural or presenting environment as appropriate.
• Demonstrate skills in evidence-based practices such as CBT, trauma informed care, and the developmental stages.
• Refer and link clients to community resources including schools, DCFS, and other youth and family social service agencies.
• Help to develop programs.
• Act as a peer leader and provide clinical guidance to less experienced staff and interns.
• Provide professional, evidence-based supervision to those seeking state licensure or degrees.
