About The Position

Join JAMHI Health & Wellness and make a lasting impact in the lives of youth and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. As a Youth and Family Outpatient Clinician , you’ll help clients build stability, independence, and meaningful lives through direct therapy, crisis response, and integrated care coordination.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
  • Ability to practice in Alaska, or the ability to obtain before employment begins
  • Active licensure or ability to obtain within 5 years
  • Valid driver’s license & CPR/AED certification (we’ll help with the CPR certification if needed)
  • A compassionate, team-oriented approach to care
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid driver’s license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if driving

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy
  • Support clients with daily living and psychosocial skill-building
  • Offer crisis response services and participate in an on-call rotation, as needed
  • Collaborate with medical, legal, and housing partners to support client goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
