Therefore, employees and volunteers of Young Life, during working and nonworking hours, shall: (i) be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization; (ii) refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life, and (iii) abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities. Job Specific Working Conditions: Note: The anticipated hourly rate for this position can range from $14.30-$17.85 depending on relevant education, experience and location. Essential Duties: Serve as the primary contact for inquiries regarding the YoungLives Experience. Collect and track childcare volunteer paperwork. Ensure all volunteers have completed required screening requirements. Maintain a database of all volunteer contact information. Provide YoungLives Assigned Team updates before camp regarding childcare details, including but not limited to the following: Status of childcare volunteer recruitment. Specific needs/requests of childcare volunteers. Complete list of all childcare volunteers. Communicate with the YoungLives executive administrator for training and assistance as needed. Communicate with childcare volunteers prior to camp week to ensure paperwork is complete and answer any questions or concerns. Communicate details to childcare volunteers to complete any required trainings on YL Access. Collect and track childcare camp fee payments. Ensure that areas meet their required childcare quota. Communicate any shortages with the area’s divisional coordinator. Collect and organize baby information to relay to YoungLives Assigned Team for each camp week. Requires availability on specific days for each camp. Working Conditions: Work from home. Willingness to travel Education: High school degree required. College degree preferred Experience Required For The Job: Must be committed to a growing and deepening relationship with Christ. Experience with YoungLives or Young Life camping preferred. Proven administrative skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Google Apps, including Docs and Sheets, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Google DocsDemonstrated proficiency in Young Life systems, such as Camp Reservation System, Staff Resources applications, Young Life Connect Camp, and Concur. Proven relational skills with adults and kids. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic accounting skills. Must be a self-starter. Must be able to work independently and with a team Ability to establish effective working relationships with Young Life staff and offer excellence in customer Service to Young Life staff and the public. Additional Responsibilities: From March until your camp week: process childcare applications for your camp week; Track childcare progress and paperwork; Aid in troubleshooting any issues in the paperwork process; Partner with the camp’s Administrative Manager; Work alongside the Childcare Assignment Team to prepare for your week at camp; and Complete housing and nursery placement of children. At camp you will help facilitate the welcome and care of the childcare team; aid the set-up of nurseries and inventory; participate in the welcome of campers, children, and leaders; and administratively and emotionally support nurseries and the CCATeam throughout the week. Young Life camps facilitate leader-centered ministry in the lives of kids and provide extraordinary environments where kids can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith.
