About The Position

CourseCareers is an online education company that provides students with an affordable way to start careers with no previous experience or a degree required. We're on a mission to replace the outdated college system and unlock human potential. To accomplish this, we need to educate the world about there being a better path to getting educated and starting a high-paying career. That's where you come in. We're looking for a YouTube Producer who can manage the production of 100 high-quality, educational talking-head videos per month. This is a remote full-time position with a base salary plus a monthly bonus based on video performance. Example video titles you'd be producing include: What is Procurement? (Supply Chain for Beginners), FASTEST Way to Learn Supply Chain and ACTUALLY Get a Job, How to get your first AutoCAD Drafting job in 2025 (Starting From Zero), Finally, an Online Certification That's More Valuable Than a Degree (seriously, MUCH MORE). Most videos will be 7-15 minutes long with a single camera angle and scene. Our goal is to consistently post over 400 YouTube videos across 40 channels per month. If you're successful in this position, there's an opportunity to make a substantial amount of money.

Requirements

• 1+ year of previous experience as a producer or editor in charge of creating high-quality educational talking head videos.
• Deep understanding of the YouTube platform, current trends, titles, thumbnails, and edits.
• Extremely self-motivated with a strong desire to learn how to scriptwrite utilizing AI and manage the content creation process.
• Very detailed and process-oriented to manage a complex 100+ video/month operation.
• Desire to work in a high-pressure, results-only environment.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of 100 YouTube videos per month.
• Choose video titles based on current trends and audience engagement.
• Coordinate with 10 creators to refine titles, scripts, recordings, and edits.
• Hire and manage a scriptwriter for writing all 100 scripts per month.
• Review all scripts written by the scriptwriter.
• Hire and manage a thumbnail designer for creating all 100 thumbnails and variations per month.
• Review all thumbnails created by the thumbnail designer.
• Hire and manage editors for editing all 100 videos per month.
• Review all edits made by the editors.
• Manage the production schedule and ensure all videos are published in a regular weekly cadence.

Benefits

• Base salary of $45,000 per year.
• Monthly bonus pool based on YouTube profit, ranging from $0 - $10,000+ per month.
