About The Position

The Spa and Wellness program features holistic services, curated classes, and signature outdoor experiences, including guided yoga sessions held within the breathtaking terrain of Snow Canyon State Park. The Yoga Instructor contributes to the resort’s wellness vision through mindful, safe, and inspiring programming. Job Summary The Part-Time Yoga Instructor leads yoga and wellness classes for guests, members, and private groups both onsite and offsite. Responsibilities include facilitating yoga sessions, teaching additional wellness modalities, supporting outdoor experiences, guiding classes in Snow Canyon State Park, performing studio setup and breakdown, and ensuring each guest receives a professional and restorative experience. This role requires the ability to instruct in varying environments while upholding Black Desert Resort luxury service standards.

Requirements

Minimum 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification required
Must possess a valid driver license with acceptable driving record for transporting equipment or guests to Snow Canyon
Ability to adapt instruction to diverse skill levels and physical abilities
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in changing outdoor conditions or guest environments

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching yoga in both indoor and outdoor environments preferred
Ability to lead multiple modalities such as meditation, restorative practices, stretching, or breathwork
Strong guest engagement skills with a service-focused mindset
CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead yoga classes tailored to all levels of experience and ability
Teach wellness offerings such as meditation, breathwork, stretching, relaxation sessions, and mindful movement
Guide outdoor yoga classes in Snow Canyon State Park and other designated outdoor spaces
Transport equipment and support all logistics for offsite classes using resort vehicles
Prepare class spaces including mats, props, lighting, music, and environmental setup
Sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness of wellness spaces after each class
Engage guests before and after classes to provide guidance, modifications, and personalized support
Assist with private sessions, specialty retreats, group functions, and promotional wellness programming
Report safety issues, equipment needs, or guest incidents promptly
Perform other wellness and spa related duties as assigned
