About The Position

Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Contracted - Yoga Teacher $50.00 Per hour to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for the achievement of improving their mental health. Help, by providing a safe, nurturing environment while they are with us; hope, by providing options for continued improvement when they leave this environment. The Yoga Teacher serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, to provide therapeutic yoga program services to adult, adolescent or child patients under Brentwood’s care for emotional or substance abuse problems.

Requirements

• Yoga Therapist certification required
• Yoga Teacher certification required
• Previous experience in behavioral health

Nice To Haves

• Aromatherapy certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements yoga therapy treatment plans in concert with the interdisciplinary team
• Sufficiently plans and prepares for activities; reports to assigned groups in timely fashion
• Accurately meets patient care review criteria; reflects patients presenting issues; current behaviors and goals.
• Participates in the ongoing implementation of the department’s or service’s continuous quality improvement plan.
