About The Position

The YMCA Youth Achiever Intern position at Humana is designed for individuals who are part of the Chestnut Street YMCA Youth Achiever Program. This internship provides a comprehensive understanding of a leading healthcare organization through various projects and tasks. Interns will work in a professional office setting, gaining valuable real-world experience while exploring different career paths. The internship is a maximum 10-week, paid summer program aimed at Metro Louisville area youth who have participated in the YMCA program.

Requirements

• Recipient of Humana Foundation Scholarship.
• Resident of Metro Louisville.
• Participated in the Chestnut Street YMCA Achiever Program.
• Currently enrolled and attending a four-year college or institution.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States either now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Availability to work virtually or in person in Humana's Louisville Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.
• Act as an apprentice while completing formal education or immediately following graduation.
• Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.
• Prioritize tasks and work under minimal direction.
