The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented teachers to work part-time or as a substitute to guide a group of school age children (K-6th grade) in our after-school programing. This role is an opportunity to directly impact the lives of children and families by fostering genuine connections, practicing exceptional hospitality, and creating a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. Locations: Schools in the La Habra community and staff must be willing and able to drive in between LJ schools as needed (all schools within 5 mile or less of each other). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00PM-5:45PM Purpose and Impact: Be a Mentor: Guide children (ages 5-12) through curriculum-aligned activities (STEM, arts, homework).
