About The Position

The Female Locker Room Custodian at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, particularly in the locker room areas. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping and general maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the locker room and facility.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively.
• Operate various cleaning machines including back pack vacuums, upright vacuums, carpet extractors, and rotary floor machines.
• Climb ladders as necessary for cleaning tasks.
• Provide timely and quality member service, ensuring member satisfaction.
