About The Position
The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is seeking a part-time Membership Service Representative (MSR) for the Arlington Tennis & Squash Center. This role is essential in providing outstanding customer service and support to members and guests at the front desk. The MSR will be responsible for managing tennis and pickleball reservations, handling membership sales, conducting tours, processing membership renewals, and performing data entry tasks. The position requires a friendly and energetic individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The MSR will also enforce guest pass policies and ensure facility access control, contributing to the overall safety and enjoyment of the center's patrons. In addition to customer service duties, the MSR will manage financial transactions at the registration desk, which may include program registrations, merchandise sales, and authorized disbursements. The role involves developing engaging relationships with members and guests, helping to transform their experience from casual to committed to the YMCA mission. The MSR will serve as a key resource for information regarding branch racquet sports programs, activities, and merchandise, providing assistance both in person and over the phone.
