About The Position

Performs SEM and ETM analysis requests, following detailed instructions and applying basic cross‑sectioning techniques for sample preparation. Prioritizes analysis tasks based on the request queue and coordinates with supervisors to adjust priorities when needed. Collaborates with customers, peers, and supervisors to clarify requirements and ensure accurate, targeted results. Interprets collected data and delivers well‑supported conclusions for each analysis request. Operates all required SEM/ETM lab equipment safely, maintaining all necessary training and certifications. Identifies and reports minor equipment issues proactively to prevent disruptions and support lab efficiency. Maintains up‑to‑date technical knowledge of device structures and upcoming components. Recommends process improvements and shares knowledge to support team learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) and be willing to move to different shifts and work overtime to support business operations
  • The ability to always wear lab-specific clean room garments (100%) to prevent human contamination of products, and occasionally wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as a chemical apron and face shield (approximately 1% of the time)
  • AAS or AS Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent trade school/military experience)
  • 2+ years of industry experience; or equivalent military training and experience​​
  • 2+ year experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements
  • Experience working within a lab environment
