About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring raw products for shipping or receiving and insuring products have passed all critical control points and been released by pre-shipment reviewer while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Team member will be responsible for performing monitoring checks as outlined in the establishment's HACCP plan or SSOP checks as stated by SSOP procedures. Team member must have a basic knowledge of mathematics (ie. calculating the average of a series of numbers). Team member must demonstrate clear and legible handwriting ability. Team member must be able to communicate with management, fellow team members and USDA staff in an effective and professional manner. Team member must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision after being trained. HACCP documentation is a legal do cument, and the falsification or misrepresentation of those documents will be grounds for termination. HACCP Techs must be individuals who are trustworthy and understand the requirements of maintaining the integrity of all HACCP documentation and must be able to perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or a member of management.

Requirements

  • 3 months cumulative work history
  • basic knowledge of mathematics (ie. calculating the average of a series of numbers)
  • clear and legible handwriting ability
  • able to communicate with management, fellow team members and USDA staff in an effective and professional manner
  • able to work with a minimum amount of supervision after being trained

Nice To Haves

  • operator experience preferred
