About The Position
Berean Christian School is seeking a full-time Yearbook and Computer Graphics Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher should have either a valid Teacher Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) or other appropriate credentials if the teaching experience is from the private school sector. Teachers will plan , organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic and spiritual potential .

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lessons plans
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Prepare a safe classroom environment for class activities and instruction
- Provide and expose students to a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
- Use relevant technology to support instruction
- Observe and evaluate students' performance and development
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
- Assign and grade class work, homework, and assessments in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date records of grades, lesson plans, and assignments
- Communicate necessary information regularly to administration, colleagues, students, and parents regarding student progress and student needs
- Keep up-to-date with developments in subject areas, teaching resources, and methods, and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
- Work together with grade-level teams to plan student learning and progress
- Participate in professional development classes to stay abreast of teaching strategies and methods
- Live out faith in a way that facilitates discipleship, mentoring, and relationship building with students
- All other duties as assigned by the BCS administration.
