About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is looking for a year-round Sales Intern for its location in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The company is focused on developing cutting-edge solutions for smart life on board and sustainable mobility. The Sales Intern will support the Sales team on all daily functions, including cash recovery, processing of claims, and purchase order tracking.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
• Strong communication skills / ability to work well in a team
• Technical knowledge / proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good personal organization / ability to multi-task with various assignments
• Drive to succeed / desire to learn
• Proficient in English; ability to speak Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of claim packages to be submitted to the customer for recovery, working internally/ with the plants to obtain all necessary back up documentation
• Support in tool tracking, gathering all information necessary for invoicing and following payment
• Support in ensuring lump sum PO's are invoiced / paid
• Support / take lead on special projects
• Maintain and publish shipment history reports
• Monitor / document PO price changes
• Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
• Support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the NAO environmental policy and ISO 14001
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to Faurecia Group Code of Ethics, Faurecia Group Code of Management, Faurecia Group Environmental Policy, and Faurecia Group Quality Policy
