Year-Round Landscaper
About The Position
Empire Property Construction is looking for a skilled year-round Landscaper to join our team. Empire Property Construction LLC is a locally owned and operated company located in the Lehigh Valley. Our core business is the rehabilitation of investment properties, both residential and commercial. If you are a skilled landscaper who enjoys working with a dynamic team and loves what you do - then WE WANT YOU! The Landscaper will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks to ensure the upkeep of clients’ properties and their surroundings. As part of our team, you are responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots. You should possess a well-rounded knowledge of landscaping and building maintenance, and thrive in a dynamic environment that offers variety. Addtionally, EPC landscapers work with our property management office staff to achieve the highest level of customer service and perform other general duties concerning the clients’ property as directed. This is a year-round position with full-time work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license along with a dependable vehicle and a clean driving record. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN MVR CHECK.
- Experience with smartphones and applications
- Experience with zero-turn mowers and snow plowing is required
- Must be able to use basic hand tools as well as power tools (basic hand tools required)
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes
Nice To Haves
- Previous job experience: Landscaping, Property Maintenance, Contractors, Construction Workers, Hotel Maintenance, etc.
- At least two years of related experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform property work, including but not limited to cutting grass, weed trimming, weed removal, mulching, cleaning up around the property, and snow and trash removal for common areas and tenant units.
- Operate zero-turn mowers, both sit-down and stand-on types.
- Ensure completion of work orders according to scheduling demands and work requested.
- Cleans and prepares designated areas of construction job sites as assigned. This may include cleaning and removing materials such as rubble, debris, and trash.
- Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
