About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is looking for a year-round Human Resources (HR) Intern for its location in Columbus, Indiana. The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Manager and HRBP with administrative tasks and a variety of projects to improve HR processes. The role involves assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties, maintaining employee records, monitoring vacation control, supporting improvement ideas management, assisting with training logistics, and participating in other HR projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Basic knowledge of Human Resources principles and concepts
• Previous experience in Human Resources will be a plus
• Ability to resolve problems efficiently & effectively
• Interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
• Handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Maintain employee records / profiles/ files updated (digitization and filing)
• Monitor and support the vacation control (ADP system / Tracker and Forms)
• Support on the Improvement ideas management: forms / continuous improvement ideas (II's) / KPI forms
• Assist on training logistics, equipment, attendance lists for training sessions, and certificates
• Monitor and support of temporary staff control / Auttend system
• Support in events and engagement activities
• Assist with hourly recruitment and the salary on-boarding program
• Support employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general information
• Participate in other Human Resources projects
• All other duties assigned
