Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is looking for a Year-Round Data Analyst Intern for our Auburn Hills, MI location. The Data Analyst Intern assists the Acquisition Manager to successfully support Seating Customer Business Units to secure any Acquisition Targets or Opportunities. He also assists maintaining up to date NAO Forvia Seating Key Acquisition & Marketing documentation such as Competition Market share, Seating Market Pricing and Volume.

  • Know Market and Customers expectations in North America Region
  • Complete Pricing Benchmark per Customer Business Unit [CBU] per product to generate Market Pricing Baseline.
  • Document product portfolio with each CBU to understand customer technical and commercial needs.
  • Identify potential product development in current portfolio with each CBU.
  • Know and Maintain Competition Market Share database in North America Region
  • Support Customer Business Units to promote Innovation and Product Development Costing
  • Active Role in Strategic Plan Preparation including Targeted Business List [TBL]
  • Build and Maintain Yearly Sales Order Intake in TBL by keeping a continuous collaboration with CBUs
  • Ensure Lifetime North America Sales [Order Intake] Growth is met with Targeted Business List [TBL] or Substitutes
  • Support CBUs identifying Market Opportunities to substitute original assumptions or generate new ones.
  • Provide full support to Customer Business Units such as Costing Analysis, Manufacturing Capacity Overview or Market Pricing to secure new Acquisitions
  • Understand Seat Structure Systems [S3] Global Platform Cost Structure to ensure consistency among regions and similar products.
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance or related field.
  • Prior project-oriented experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in office computer software programs (Microsoft Excel).
  • Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and good logical thinking.
  • Strong relationship skills (tenacity, tact and diplomacy).
  • International mindset, willingness to work with a broad group of team members.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
