About The Position

The Y-CAP of Middle Tennessee is Now Hiring for YCAP Program Assistant Floater
Location: YCAP 1011 Russell Street, Nashville TN 37206
Position Type: Part-time
Pay Range starts at $19.50 (or more depending on experience)
Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00-6:00 p.m.

Hey there! 👋 We’re looking for an energetic, caring, and dependable YCAP Program Assistant Floater to join our Y-Quest afterschool prevention program. If you love working with middle schoolers and want to make a real impact, this might be your jam!
You’ll bring daily lesson plans to life, actively lead groups of up to 30 youth, and help create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment that supports social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth. You’ll bounce between program sites as needed, partner with YMCA and school staff, and model our core values—Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility—every single day.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18
• Education: High school diploma required
• Experience: At least 1 year of youth development experience preferred
• Certifications (required): New Hire Orientation, DHS Background Disclosure & Fingerprints, Abuse Registry Check, references completed before first shift; CPR/First Aid/AED (Infant/Pediatric) within 30 days of hire
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites
