About The Position

American Stone Salt Lake is hiring a full-time Yard Hand to help with our projects and provide excellent customer service. We are looking for a dependable, hard-working individual with a positive attitude who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a team-driven environment. JOB DESCRIPTION This role supports daily yard operations and customer service activities and requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a willingness to learn. Your Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating forklifts or loaders is preferred but not required
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Responsibilities

• Load customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and company vehicles safely and efficiently
• Stack, organize, and move stone, pallets, and materials throughout the yard
• Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and tractors once properly trained
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, storage areas, and workspaces
• Cut stone using saws and other tools as needed
• Follow safety procedures and operate equipment according to training and company standards
• Assist co-workers and supervisors with additional tasks as assigned
