About The Position

SCA is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking yard worker to join our team. As a yard worker you will ensure the proper maintenance and organization of our yard and outdoor spaces. You will also play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet of vehicles.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a yard worker or in a similar role is preferred
• Must have valid Class C license.
• Must pass and maintain drug-free status: employment and random drug tests.
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.
• No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.
• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours, as needed

Responsibilities

• Light maintenance duties such as washing and cleaning both the exterior and interior of the fleet.
• Cleaning the exterior of the parking lot of the site location.
• Transporting parts as needed.
• Ability to operate a pick-up truck safely.
