About The Position

The duties of a yard worker can vary and can include, but are not limited to: Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment. Must be able to receive multiple orders and organize them when loading them onto trucks or within the yard. Assisting in maintaining our MOT devices onsite as well as various equipment. Assisting in building cages Keep the yard/warehouse clean and organized. Must be a safe worker who can lift 90 pounds without assistance, occasionally up to 160 pounds, with assistance. This position also requires you to frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend. Welding on occasion Must be willing to work outdoors. Occasionally operate various equipment to move materials around the yard. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Problem-solving skills
Valid Driver's License, CDL A or B (preferred but not required)
Works well in a team environment where situations and demands change daily.
Reliable source of transportation
Effective Communication Skills
Must be a safe worker who can lift 90 pounds without assistance, occasionally up to 160 pounds, with assistance.
This position also requires you to frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and bend.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating construction equipment
Experience as a material handler
Experience operating yard equipment
Ability to use hand tools.
Welding
Ability to accurately read a level and a tape measure.

Responsibilities
