About The Position

Wisconsin Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, operates locations throughout Wisconsin, supplying a comprehensive range of building materials including windows, doors, roofing, siding, millwork, hardware, cabinetry, countertops, decking, railing, gypsum, lumber, plywood, and insulation. The Yard/Warehouse Rep I is an entry-level position responsible for receiving, stocking, shipping, ordering, and counting inventory items. This role requires the safe operation of a forklift to stock lumber and building materials, performing duties within established work and safety procedures. US LBM is a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, operating over 400 locations nationwide, combining national scale with a local market strategy.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
Ability/willingness to learn to read a tape measure
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills
Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems
Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, Inventory Control Systems, and other necessary business applications)

Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining an organized work environment
Empty trash receptacles, and keep all bays and staging areas clean and organized
Receive incoming products, commodities and materials
Provide Excellent Customer Service
Count and record receipt of materials
Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations
Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials
Operate forklift with foot and hand controls
Use forklift to build outgoing orders or to load completed orders onto delivery equipment
Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools)
Monitor inventory as required by location management
Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results
Perform other duties as assigned

Participate in and complete assigned trainings
