About The Position
As a Yard Utility worker, the essential duties involve barge cleaning, operating facility equipment like vapor combustors, and performing fueling operations. Responsibilities also include facility maintenance, janitorial duties, and driving company vehicles for parts pick-up and deliveries as required. Additionally, other duties may be assigned as needed to support facility operations.
Requirements
- Ability to pass the Kirby physical for yard utility personnel.
- Ability to drive company vehicles
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds up to 20 feet.
- Ability to pass the REVRAC literacy test to a minimum 9th grade level.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
