About The Position

Pol-Tex, a division of Poly-America, L.P.,leading plastics manufacturer, is currently seeking a Yard Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Pol-Tex International’s mission is to be the safest and most efficient choice in the polyethylene recovery, recycling, and compounding industries. Our fleet, facility, and equipment combined with our experienced and dedicated professional staff make Pol-Tex International the premier gathering and recycling center for the Gulf Coast Region.

Requirements

At least one year of experience driving commercial trucks or yard mules.
The ability to handle trailers quickly in tight spaces regardless of lighting conditions.
The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Pol-Tex processes, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Relocating, docking, and transporting 48’ and 53’ trailers within our manufacturing facility.
Keeping up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information to ensure on-time shipment of goods.
Using propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers.
Additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
