About The Position

Join Penske as a full-time Class A Yard Driver and earn $27 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. This position allows you to work locally and be home daily, with weekends off. You will be driving late model trucks from Penske Truck Leasing, which are designed for comfort and safety. The trucks are equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. Your primary responsibilities will include moving trailers in and out of the dock as directed by management, coupling and uncoupling trailers, chocking trailers for loading and unloading, and pulling from doors. This is a no touch freight position. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 2 PM start time and occasional Sundays as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional Sundays
• Ability to start at 2 PM

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
• Couple and uncouple trailers
• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading
• Pull trailers from doors
• Drive late model Penske trucks
