About The Position

Position Overview: Drivers will operate yard hostlers, pallet jacks and forklifts assignments in warehouses, depots and/or terminals. Individual must represent us in a professional manner and follow safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Valid License
• Willing to load and unload

Nice To Haves

• Must be able to understand written and spoken instructions
• May be working in crowded industrial spaces, so safety awareness is key
• Some assignments include responsibility to clean trailers

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the customer needs.
• Accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles.
• Function and interact on a daily basis with operations managers and / or depot managers and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
• Proper use of Airline/Electrical hookup/and Backing procedure is a must.
• Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and yard
• Other duties as assigned
