About The Position

As a member of our supply chain team, you’ll ensure our customers receive noticeably better service and that our products are delivered accurately and on time. With great attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture, you’ll ensure all elements of the distribution process are considered and accounted for. Additionally, you’ll assist our operations team in obtaining the lowest industry cost. Working closely with internal partners, customers and vendors, you’ll provide a seamless and hassle-free logistics process.Position OverviewPay Range: $27.88/hr – $29.17/hr Hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm, Monday-Thursday (Overtime as production demands).

Requirements

• Class A CDL Driver License is required
• Must have an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 or older
• Be able to use the following computer systems: MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Access) and Outlook
• Self-motivated
• Ability to succeed in a team-oriented environment
• Desire to satisfy customers by providing Exceptional Customer Service
• Accurately maintain all paperwork associated with this position
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Communication skills / radio communication very important
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Movement of all semi-trailers from/to Riverside, Countryside and Meadowside operations grounds (to and from the yard and plant docks for receiving, shipping and trucking)
• Responsible for completion of daily washing of tractors and trailers
• Responsible for general trailer operations (fueling, unloading, temperature checks, etc.)
• Other responsibilities including (e.g. yard security checks, trucking functions, etc.)
• General trailer upkeep
