About The Position

As a Yard Supervisor at Rain for Rent, you will oversee yard operations to ensure that customer product, operations, delivery, installation, and pick-up are met or exceeded. This role involves managing maintenance tasks, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, all while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in rental equipment and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of DMV and truck rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a supervisory role within a similar industry.
• Familiarity with liquid handling solutions and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee yard operations to ensure customer product, operations, delivery, installation, and pick-up are met or exceeded.
• Conduct maintenance on tanks including testing, welding, and painting.
• Ensure all parts are cleaned to standards in the washrack.
• Repair and paint fittings, ensuring part numbers are correctly labeled.
• Perform daily inventories of parts, tanks, spillguards, pumps, and serialized assets.
• Review inventory reports and make necessary adjustments for missing items.
• Prepare equipment for branch transfers and assemble all necessary paperwork.
• Order parts and supplies for upcoming jobs and fleet maintenance.
• Load and unload all deliveries and transfers.
• Ensure maintenance of forklifts and other branch equipment.
