About The Position

R.R. Cassidy, Inc. is seeking a skilled Yard Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Class D or higher drivers license and have 5+ years in managing crews and laydown yard responsibilites.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in heavy civil or deep foundation construction, including supervisory roles.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Lattice boom crane operator certification
Twic required
Travel required

Nice To Haves

Proficient with project management software and reporting tools prfeerred.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and foster a culture of safety.
Report yard attendance to the Resource Coordinator by 9:00AM (same day).
Plan and oversee the execution of organizing the yard and warehouse, and the maintenance and cleanliness for all facilities.
Responsible for housekeeping-related tasks for the equipment, facility, and yard.
Coordinate with field supervision as indicated on the most current communication flow chart (Job Hub/Tenna), and logistics as needed to be efficient with mob, de-mobs, and miscellaneous loads.
Collaborate with the Yard General Super, field Generals and Supers, vendors, and suppliers to meet project and job requirements as needed.
Understand RRC procurement guidelines and execute as necessary.
Manage local pick-ups and deliveries when adequate resources are available.
Oversee an accurate inventory and keep current record keeping spreadsheets and/or programs updated.
Manage yard timesheets, inspection reports, completion of all required safety paperwork.
Provides regular reports of job progress to the Yard General Superintendent.
Participates in weekly management call
Maintain a safe, innovative, and positive mindset.
Teach, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of yard personnel.
