About The Position

SCHEDULE: Sunday through Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm What You'll Do Performs a complete safety and mechanical check of the Yard truck and trailers to be moved. Climbs up into cab, drives to trailers, backs up to the trailer, raises 5th wheel, makes connections, climbs down to remove wheel chock, climb up into cab and drives away. Backs the trailer into the designed spot, disconnects the trailer, installs chocks. Drives forklift to make up cross dock loads. Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors clean, and keep work areas neat and clean.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
CDL A Certification
Hazmat and Doubles endorsements
Minimum 1 year driving tractor/trailer combinations
Knowledge of DOT regulations on equipment standards and inspections
