About The Position

This role is responsible for safely moving trailers within the manufacturing/warehouse yard, positioning trailers at dock doors, and supporting daily warehouse functions including loading, unloading, inventory adjustments, and general facility upkeep. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and attention to detail. Hours: Day & Night Shift Available 22,3 Schedule 6AM-6PM OR 6PM-6AM Pay: $28-31/hr

Requirements

Valid CDL with a clean driving record
Safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices
Comfortable operating yard tractors and maneuvering trailers in tight spaces
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-based environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills across departments
Ability to read a tape measure or ruler
Strong mathematical and inventory accuracy skills
Ability to work around moving equipment and people safely
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb in and out of equipment
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

Safely move, spot, and position trailers within the manufacturing and warehouse yard
Back trailers into dock doors and remove trailers as directed by operations
Ensure trailers are properly secured, chocked, and aligned with dock locks
Communicate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to prioritize trailer movements
Load trailers with customer product per correct unit counts and customer orders
Unload inbound trailers and stage product for warehousing
Properly place and organize customer product within the warehouse
Operate dock plates and dock lock systems
Create delivery slips and shipping documentation for outbound loads
Fill in for other warehouse personnel as required
Routinely clean, sweep, and maintain warehouse and dock areas
Ensure quality and accuracy by actively seeking work and supporting process improvements
Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors
