About The Position

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for positioning truck tractors and trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation by moving equipment to and from loading docks, maintenance bays and other designated areas. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or up to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education and a valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including: lifting above 50 lbs.., bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)

Responsibilities

• Move and position equipment on company facilities according to operations and maintenance needs
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
• Observe all Company safety requirements
• Perform daily yard checks including inventory and counts
• Inspect truck equipment and gear for safe operation and compliance company regulations and procedures
