About The Position

The Casual Vehicle Shifter at UPS is responsible for moving trailers around the UPS property to ensure they are unloaded, repositioned, and loaded efficiently. This role requires excellent driving skills and the ability to operate a powered industrial truck or tractor trailer safely.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) or tractor trailer.
• Ability to back trailers safely.
• Valid driver's license (no CDL required, varies by state).
• Excellent driving skills and a good driving record.
• Reliable and responsible work ethic.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) or tractor trailers to move trailers around the UPS property.
• Back trailers safely to the bay door for unloading and loading.
